Terms and policies
ffiro is a discovery platform. Every trip is organised and run by the agency listed on it. These documents explain what that means for you.
Version 1.0 · Effective 11 October 2026
Terms of Use
The rules for using ffiro. The short version: ffiro helps you find trips, and the agency listed on a trip is the one that organises and runs it.
1.About these terms
ffiro is an online platform ("ffiro", "we", "us"). These terms are a legal agreement between you and us, and they apply whenever you browse or use ffiro.
By using ffiro, creating an account or sending a booking request, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use ffiro.
Agencies that list trips on ffiro also agree to the Agency Terms. The Cancellation and Refund section on this page forms part of these terms.
2.What ffiro is, and what it is not
ffiro is a discovery platform. It shows trips offered by independent travel agencies and trip organisers ("agencies") in one place, so that you can compare them and contact or send a request to the agency you choose.
- ffiro is not a travel agent, tour operator, trip organiser, transport provider or guide. We do not plan, run, lead, sell or supervise any trip.
- Every trip is organised and run only by the agency named on its page. When you book, your contract for the trip is with that agency, not with ffiro.
- ffiro does not collect, hold or transfer money for any trip. You pay the agency directly, in the way you and the agency agree.
- ffiro acts as an intermediary that passes information between you and the agency. We are not a party to, and do not control, what you and the agency agree with each other.
3.Who can use ffiro
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or send a booking request. Anyone under 18 may join a trip only if an adult makes the request and the agency allows it.
- The details you give us must be true, current and your own. Do not create an account for someone else or pretend to be another person or business.
- Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for what is done through your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
4.Trip listings and information
Trip pages, agency profiles, prices, dates, itineraries, inclusions, photos, policies and seat counts are provided by the agencies. ffiro does not write, check or guarantee this information, and it can change or contain mistakes.
Before you pay, confirm the important details directly with the agency: the final price and what it covers, the dates, pickup points, difficulty, fitness or age limits, what to carry, and the agency's cancellation and refund policy.
Destination pages are general information to help you explore. They are not travel, safety, weather or medical advice.
5.Approval and the Verified badge
We look at an agency's profile before it appears on ffiro. Approval only means the profile looked complete and real to us at that time. It is not a recommendation or a promise about the agency.
A "Verified" badge on an agency means only that we have confirmed the agency's contact details and the identity of the person who runs it. It does not mean that we have checked the agency's licences, permits, insurance, guides, equipment, vehicles or safety record, and it is not a guarantee of how any trip will go.
You should make your own checks before you travel with any agency, whether or not it carries a badge.
6.Booking requests
- Sending a request on ffiro does not book or hold a seat. It sends your request and contact details to the agency and gives you a booking reference.
- The agency decides whether to accept. If it accepts, it may hold a seat for a limited time while you pay the agency directly. Your seat is confirmed only when the agency confirms it.
- The status of a request, and any payment or refund shown against it on ffiro, is recorded by the agency. We do not check these records and cannot confirm that money was paid or returned.
- Agencies can also record bookings made outside the platform. Those records are the agency's own.
- Send requests only for trips you intend to join. Do not send fake, duplicate or bulk requests.
7.Payments, cancellations and refunds
ffiro does not charge travellers and does not take payment for trips. All payments, receipts, taxes, cancellations and refunds are between you and the agency, under the agency's own policy.
We cannot issue, order or guarantee a refund. How this works, and how we can help if something goes wrong, is explained in the Cancellation and Refund section on this page.
8.Adventure travel carries risk
Treks, hikes, camping, waterfall visits, rides and other outdoor trips are physically demanding and carry real risk. This includes slips and falls, injury, illness, drowning, bad weather, difficult terrain, wildlife, road accidents, delays, loss of belongings and, in rare cases, death. Help and medical care can be far away.
- You take part in any trip by your own choice and at your own risk.
- You are responsible for deciding whether a trip suits your health, fitness and experience, for telling the agency about any medical condition, for carrying valid identification, and for following the instructions of the agency and its trip leaders.
- The agency is solely responsible for the trip: its planning, guides, transport, equipment, food, stay, permits, group size, safety arrangements and decisions on the ground, including whether to go ahead in bad weather.
- ffiro does not inspect trips, routes, vehicles or equipment, and does not train or supervise guides. We strongly suggest you consider travel or accident insurance.
9.Reviews and other content you post
Reviews on ffiro are about agencies. Only travellers who have completed a trip with an agency, on a booking that agency confirmed on ffiro, can review it. "Verified traveller" on a review means exactly that and nothing more.
- Write only about your own real experience. Do not post a review for payment, a discount or any other reward, and do not review a business you own or work for.
- Do not post anything false, abusive, hateful, obscene, threatening or defamatory, anything that reveals another person's private details, or anything that breaks the law or someone else's rights.
- You keep ownership of what you post. You give ffiro a free, non-exclusive, worldwide permission to store, display and share it on ffiro and in material that promotes ffiro.
- Reviews and ratings are the opinions of the people who wrote them, not ours. We do not check them for accuracy. We may remove or hide any content that breaks these terms or the law.
10.What you must not do
When you use ffiro, you must not:
- break any law, or post or share anything that is unlawful, harmful to children, obscene, defamatory, invasive of privacy, hateful, or that encourages violence or illegal acts;
- post anything that infringes a copyright, trade mark or other right, or that you do not have the right to share;
- impersonate any person or business, or mislead anyone about who you are or where a message comes from;
- knowingly share false or misleading information;
- upload viruses or harmful code, or try to break, overload, probe or get around the security of the platform;
- copy, scrape or collect data from the platform by automated means, or use it to build a competing service;
- collect or misuse other people's personal details, or send spam, bulk or unwanted messages to agencies or travellers;
- threaten the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with other countries, or public order.
11.Reporting a problem
If you see a listing, review, photo or account that you believe is false, unsafe, unlawful or that infringes your rights, write to our Grievance Officer using the details at the end of these terms. Tell us what it is, where it appears and why you are reporting it.
We review reports and act on them within the timelines the law requires. This can include removing content, or suspending or removing an account or an agency. We may also act on orders from a court or a government authority.
12.Ownership of the platform and its content
The ffiro name, logo, design, software and the way the platform is arranged belong to us or to those who license them to us. You may use the platform for your own personal, non-commercial trip planning. You may not copy, sell or reuse any part of it without our written permission.
Trip and agency content belongs to the agencies or the people who gave it to them. Other names, logos and photos belong to their owners.
13.Other websites and apps
ffiro can open other services, such as WhatsApp, your phone or email app, maps, and an agency's own website or social pages. We do not control these and are not responsible for them. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and anything you agree with an agency outside ffiro is between the two of you.
14.No guarantees
ffiro is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that the platform will always be available, free of errors or secure, that listings will be accurate or current, that an agency will respond to or accept your request, or that any trip will take place or meet your expectations.
We may change, pause or stop any part of the platform at any time.
15.Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows:
- ffiro is not responsible for the acts or omissions of any agency, trip leader, traveller or other person, or for any trip, including its quality, safety, changes, delays or cancellation;
- we are not responsible for any injury, illness, death, accident, loss of or damage to belongings, or any other loss connected with a trip or with your dealings with an agency;
- we are not responsible for any payment, non-payment or refund between you and an agency;
- we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profit, opportunity or goodwill;
- our total liability to you for everything connected with ffiro is limited to the amount you paid to ffiro in the twelve months before the claim, or Rs. 1,000 if you paid us nothing.
Nothing in these terms removes or limits any responsibility that cannot be removed or limited under Indian law, or any right you have as a consumer that the law does not allow you to give up.
16.Your responsibility to us
If we face a claim, penalty, loss or cost because you broke these terms, broke the law, misused the platform, or because of something you posted, you agree to compensate us for it, including reasonable legal costs.
17.Suspending or closing accounts
We may limit, suspend or close your account, or remove your content, if you break these terms or the law, if your use puts others or the platform at risk, or if a court or authority requires it. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why.
You can stop using ffiro at any time and can ask us to delete your account as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as the limits on our responsibility, continue to apply after your account is closed.
18.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as ffiro or the law changes. The version number and effective date at the top of this document show the current version. If a change is important, we will tell you on the platform, and you will be asked to accept the current terms when you next send a booking request. If you keep using ffiro after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
19.General
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest continues to apply. If we do not enforce a term at some point, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the other documents on this page, are the whole agreement between you and us about the platform.
20.Contact and Grievance Officer
For questions, complaints, reports about content, or any concern about ffiro, contact our Grievance Officer:
- Email: support@example.com
We acknowledge every complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days of receiving it.
Version 1.1 · Effective 12 October 2026
Privacy Policy
What personal data ffiro collects, why we need it, who we share it with, and how you can see, correct or delete it.
1.Who we are
This is the privacy policy of the ffiro platform ("ffiro", "we", "us"). We decide how and why the personal data described here is used, and we are responsible for it under Indian data protection law.
This policy covers the ffiro website and app. It does not cover what an agency does with your details once it has them, or other websites and apps that ffiro links to.
2.What we collect
Details you give us:
- Account: your name, email address, profile picture and phone number if you add them, and how you sign in (for example email, or your Google account).
- Booking requests: your name, phone number, email address, the trip and date, the number of seats, and any note you add for the agency.
- Reviews and wishlist: the rating and text of reviews you write, and the trips you save.
- Agencies and their staff: the agency's name, description, location, contact numbers and email, website and social links, photos and policies, and the names and email addresses of the people who manage it.
- Messages and feedback: what you write on the Contact us page or to support, whether you are a traveller or an agency, and the name, phone number and email address you add so we can reply. You do not need an account to write to us. If you are signed in when you send a message, it is linked to your account.
Details collected automatically:
- Technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the time, kept in server logs to run and protect the platform.
- Essential cookies that keep you signed in and keep the platform secure.
- A count of taps on an agency's Call, WhatsApp or Email buttons. If you are not signed in, this count is not linked to you.
Details we get from others:
- If you sign in with a provider such as Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from it.
- An agency can record a booking you made with it directly, using the name, phone number and email address you gave the agency.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment card or bank details, government ID numbers or health records. ffiro does not process payments.
3.Why we use it
- to create and secure your account and keep you signed in;
- to send your booking request to the agency you chose, show you its status and send you in-app notifications about it;
- to show your saved trips, and to publish reviews you write;
- to list agencies and their trips, and to let agency staff manage them;
- to answer your questions, act on your feedback and handle complaints;
- to prevent fraud, abuse and security problems;
- to understand how the platform is used, in a form that does not identify you, so we can improve it;
- to meet our legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
We rely on your consent, given when you create an account and when you send a booking request, and on the other grounds the law permits, such as meeting a legal obligation. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to show you advertising.
4.Who sees your data
- The agency you send a request to receives your name, phone number, email address, the number of seats and your note, so it can contact you and arrange the trip. The trip leader the agency assigns to your departure can see the same details. Each agency is responsible for how it uses and protects them.
- Service providers that run parts of ffiro for us, under contract and only for that purpose: Clerk (account sign-in and security), MongoDB Atlas (database hosting), Render (hosting the application), Vercel (hosting the website), Cloudflare (storing and delivering photos and videos).
- Courts, the police, regulators or other authorities, when the law requires it or to protect someone's rights or safety.
- A new owner, if ffiro is ever merged, sold or reorganised. The new owner would have to respect this policy.
What is public: a review you write appears with your first name and the first letter of your last name. An agency's profile, including its contact details, is public by design.
5.When you contact an agency directly
When you tap Call, WhatsApp or Email on a trip, you leave ffiro and deal with the agency directly. What you share there is governed by the agency and by the app you use, not by this policy.
6.Where your data is kept, and how it is protected
Our service providers may store and process data on servers outside India. We use providers that protect data to recognised standards and we do not send data to any country the Government of India has restricted.
We protect your data with measures such as encryption in transit, access controls and limiting who can see what. No system is completely secure. If a breach of personal data affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
7.How long we keep it
- Account details: for as long as you have an account.
- Booking records: for as long as they are needed by you and the agency to manage the trip, payments and refunds, and afterwards for as long as the law requires or allows for records and disputes.
- Reviews: until you delete them or ask us to.
- Messages and feedback: until we have dealt with them, and no longer than we need them.
- Server logs: for a limited period needed for security and troubleshooting.
After you delete your account, we may keep limited records where the law requires it, including your sign-up details for 180 days.
8.Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we have used and shared it;
- correct or update anything that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data, where we no longer need to keep it;
- stop using your data by withdrawing your consent. If you do, we may no longer be able to provide your account or pass on a booking request;
- name another person who can use these rights for you if you die or become unable to act.
To use any of these rights, write to support@example.com from the email address on your account. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm it is really you before we act.
9.Deleting your account
To delete your account, write to support@example.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will delete the account and the personal data linked to it within 30 days and confirm when it is done.
Some things cannot be removed straight away: details an agency already received with a booking request stay in that agency's own records, and we keep what the law requires us to keep. If you have a trip coming up, deleting your account does not cancel it; contact the agency first.
10.Children
ffiro is for people aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their details, write to support@example.com and we will remove them.
11.Cookies
ffiro uses only the cookies it needs to work: those that keep you signed in and protect your session. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
12.Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when what we collect, or how we use it, changes. The version number and effective date at the top of this document show the current version. If a change is important, we will tell you on the platform before it takes effect.
13.Questions and complaints
For any question or complaint about your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer:
- Email: support@example.com
We acknowledge every complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days of receiving it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Version 1.0 · Effective 11 October 2026
Agency Terms
For agencies and trip organisers who list on ffiro. You run your trips and are responsible for them; ffiro shows them to travellers and passes requests to you.
1.Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to every travel agency, trip organiser or individual that lists trips on ffiro ("you", "the agency"), and to anyone who manages an agency's account. They apply in addition to the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy on this page.
The person who accepts these terms confirms that they are authorised to do so for the agency. If you list as an individual, you accept them for yourself.
2.How we work together
- You are an independent business. Nothing here makes you and ffiro partners, employer and employee, or agents of each other. You must not say or suggest that ffiro organises, runs or guarantees your trips.
- ffiro lists your profile and trips, passes travellers' requests and enquiries to you, and gives you tools to manage them. ffiro does not sell your trips and is not a party to your contract with a traveller.
- ffiro does not promise any number of views, enquiries, requests or bookings.
3.Onboarding and approval
- Give true, complete and current details about your agency, and keep them updated. On request, give us your legal name, address, contact details and any registration details we need to identify who operates the agency.
- We review each agency before it goes live, and may refuse, pause or remove an agency or a trip at our discretion, for example if details look false or unsafe, or if we receive serious complaints.
- The "Verified" badge is given at our discretion and means only that we have confirmed the agency's contact details and the identity of the person who runs it. You must not describe it as a licence, a safety approval or an endorsement by ffiro.
4.Your listings
- Every listing must be accurate and not misleading: the price and exactly what it includes and excludes, dates, itinerary, pickup points, difficulty, group size, and any age, fitness or health limits.
- Use only photos, videos and text that you own or have permission to use, and that show what a traveller will really get.
- Keep dates, prices and seat counts current. Cancel or update a departure on the platform as soon as your plans change.
- Honour the price and terms shown on the trip at the time you accept a traveller's request.
- Publish a clear cancellation and refund policy, on your agency profile or on the trip, and follow it. A policy on a trip applies to that trip first; your agency policy covers anything the trip's policy does not.
5.Licences, permits and safety
You are solely responsible for every trip you run and for the safety of the people on it. This includes:
- holding every registration, licence and permission the law requires for your business and for each trip, including any adventure tourism registration that applies in your state, and forest, fort, trail, camping and transport permissions;
- using trained and experienced trip leaders and guides, safe and roadworthy transport with valid papers, and equipment that is in good condition;
- carrying first aid, planning for emergencies and evacuation, keeping group sizes safe, and briefing travellers on risks before the trip;
- checking weather and local conditions, and postponing or cancelling when it is not safe to go;
- holding insurance suited to the trips you run, where it is required or reasonably expected.
ffiro does not check any of the above and takes no responsibility for it.
6.Requests, bookings and records
- Respond to requests promptly. Accept a request only if you can provide the seats at the listed price.
- Keep statuses true. Mark a booking as confirmed only after you have received payment, and record a refund only after you have paid it.
- If you cancel a departure or a traveller's confirmed seat, tell the traveller at once and refund everything they paid for it.
- If a traveller cancels, apply the cancellation policy that applied to that trip when they booked.
- Bookings you record yourself must be real bookings with real travellers.
7.Payments, refunds and taxes
You collect payment from travellers directly and are responsible for receipts, invoices, refunds, chargebacks and all taxes on your trips, including GST where it applies. ffiro does not handle money for trips and is not responsible for any amount owed between you and a traveller.
8.Travellers' personal data
Through ffiro you receive travellers' names, phone numbers, email addresses and notes. You are responsible for this data once you have it, and you must:
- use it only to handle that traveller's request, booking and trip;
- not use it for marketing, add it to broadcast lists or groups, or contact the traveller about anything else, unless the traveller has clearly agreed to that with you;
- not sell it, share it or pass it to anyone except the people who need it to run that trip;
- keep it secure, limit access to the staff who need it, and delete it when you no longer need it or the traveller asks;
- follow Indian data protection law in everything you do with it;
- tell us without delay at support@example.com if this data is lost, leaked or misused.
When you record a booking made outside ffiro, you confirm that the traveller has agreed to you entering their details on ffiro. For those details you are the one who decides how they are used, and ffiro stores them on your behalf.
9.Your team
You decide who you add as an admin, manager, member or trip leader. Everything they do on the platform is done for you, and you are responsible for it. Remove a person's access as soon as they stop working with you.
10.Reviews
Travellers who have completed a trip with you can rate and review your agency. You must not write or arrange fake reviews, offer money, discounts or gifts for reviews, pressure a traveller to change or remove a review, or treat a traveller badly because of one. If you believe a review breaks the Terms of Use, report it to us.
11.Content you give us
You keep ownership of your content. You give ffiro a free, non-exclusive, worldwide permission to store, display, adapt for format, and share your agency and trip content, including your name, logo and photos, on ffiro and in material that promotes ffiro or your listings. You confirm that you have the right to give this permission and that the content does not infringe anyone else's rights.
12.Fees
Listing on ffiro is currently free. We may introduce fees in future. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days' notice, and you can stop listing before any fee applies to you.
13.Your responsibility to ffiro and to travellers
You are responsible for your trips, your listings, your staff and your dealings with travellers. If ffiro faces a claim, complaint, penalty, loss or cost, including reasonable legal costs, because of any of these, because you broke these terms or the law, or because of how you used travellers' data, you agree to compensate ffiro for it in full.
14.Limits on ffiro's responsibility
ffiro is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for lost bookings, revenue, profit, data or goodwill, for downtime or errors on the platform, or for the acts of any traveller. Our total liability to you for everything connected with ffiro is limited to the fees you paid to ffiro in the twelve months before the claim, or Rs. 1,000 if you paid none.
15.Suspension, removal and leaving
- We may suspend or remove your agency, your trips or any content if you break these terms or the law, if travellers are put at risk, if you do not pay refunds you owe, or if a court or authority requires it.
- You can stop listing on ffiro at any time by archiving your trips and writing to us.
- Leaving or being removed does not end your duties to travellers who already have a request or booking with you. You must still run those trips or refund them.
- Booking records stay on ffiro for the travellers concerned and for legal purposes.
16.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version number and effective date at the top of this document show the current version. When a new version is published, you will be asked to accept it in your agency console before you continue to use it.
17.Contact
For any question about these terms or your listing, write to support@example.com.
Version 1.0 · Effective 11 October 2026
Cancellation and Refund
ffiro does not take payment for trips, so it cannot cancel a charge or pay a refund. Cancellations and refunds are set and paid by the agency you book with.
1.The short version
- You pay the agency directly. ffiro never collects or holds your money.
- Each agency sets its own cancellation and refund policy. A policy shown on a trip page applies to that trip first. The agency's standard policy, on the agency's own page, covers anything the trip page does not.
- Any refund is paid to you by the agency. ffiro cannot pay it, order it or guarantee it.
- ffiro does not charge travellers anything, so there is no ffiro fee to refund.
2.Before you pay
- Read the policy on the trip page and the agency's standard policies on its page. If neither tells you what you need, ask the agency for it in writing before you pay.
- Confirm the final amount, what it covers, and how and when a refund would be paid.
- Keep proof of payment and your messages with the agency, and quote your booking reference.
3.Cancelling before you have paid
A request you have sent, or a seat the agency is holding for you, can be cancelled from My bookings at any time before the agency confirms it. Nothing has been paid through ffiro, so nothing is owed either way. A held seat is also released automatically if it is not confirmed in time.
4.Cancelling after you have paid
Once the agency has confirmed your booking, contact the agency to cancel. The agency's policy for that trip decides how much is returned, and the agency pays it to you directly.
5.If the agency cancels
If the agency cancels a departure, or cancels your confirmed seat, our Agency Terms require it to refund everything you paid for that booking. You will be notified on ffiro, and the amount the agency owes you is shown on your booking in My bookings until the agency records that it has paid.
6.Date changes, no-shows, weather and other events
Changes of date, missed departures, early returns, and cancellations caused by weather, closures, strikes or other events outside anyone's control are handled under the agency's own policy. Ask the agency how it treats these before you book.
7.What ffiro shows, and what it cannot do
The booking status, the payment recorded and any refund shown on ffiro are entered by the agency. They are a record of what the agency says has happened. ffiro does not verify them and has no control over the money.
8.If an agency does not refund you
First contact the agency in writing and quote your booking reference. If that does not resolve it, write to support@example.com with the reference and what happened. We will raise it with the agency, and we may suspend or remove an agency that does not honour its policy or these terms.
We cannot pay the refund ourselves or decide the dispute. You keep every legal right you have against the agency, including under consumer protection law.
